Spring at Highwoods

You are ideally located for day trips to all of the many THINGS TO DO in Asheville and almost everything else that Western North Carolina offers to visitors.

When you return to Highwoods at the end of the day, you arrive in another world. You are taken away by only the sound of water falling, the beauty and the power of nature. You are filled with a sense of profound peace that many consider to be of a spiritual nature.

Highwoods land protects the watershed for the extensive valleys below. You are surrounded by thousands of acres of magnificent wilderness, open fields and farmland where people smile and raise their hand to say hello as they pass, and are always there to lend a hand or tell you a good story.

If you like to hike, bike or take late afternoon strolls, the quiet roads and off-road trails will give you endless miles of choices.

The main house is located at the top of our road and has THE VIEW that people come to the mountains for. Those glorious Blue Ridge Mountain Views are enjoyed from most every room in the house, from the master bedroom’s luxury king-size bed as well as from the kitchen sink!… not to mention the expansive deck. For your more intimate moments you can snuggle up close to the mountain behind while soaking your stress away in the spa.

The art and décor at Highwoods has been collected from around the world, which we think you will find both interesting and inviting. Upon your arrival you will find a bottle of wine, a bowl of seasonable fruit, fresh flowers, a variety of teas, and a very special Austrian coffee. In the event you are arriving late and would like to have breakfast items at hand in the morning, just ask, those items can be provided at a reasonable cost.
