The house is ideal and wonderfully cozy for a romantic get-away for one couple, but can also easily accommodate groups of 6 to 8. Children are welcome … kids love staying at Highwoods!

The basic rate varies between $225 to $300 per night. There may be significant discounts depending on season and length of stay. Please see chart below.

The following rates are based on a total of six guests. The fee for additional guests is $25 per guest per night to a maximum of $150 per guest per week.

Discounts:

Extended stays: 10% discount on stays of 2 weeks or longer; 15% discount on stays of 4 weeks or longer.

Returning guests: may deduct $100 from any future rental of one week or longer.

Referral bonus: $100 to any former guest who refers a new guest for a one week rental. The new guest must say who referred them in the initial inquiry. This bonus is paid to the referring guest when the deposit is refunded to the new guest.

Just one couple: we offer a 5% discount on weekly rentals when only 2 people will be occupying the house and utilizing only one of the bedrooms.

Reservations are confirmed only after receipt of a 50% deposit. The balance and the security deposit are due 30 days prior to your arrival. You are encouraged to get your confirmed reservations in early, especially for holiday weeks and leaf season (October).

CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refunds will be given for reservations cancelled 90 days or more prior to your arrival date. After that time all rental fees will be forfeited, unless a new booking is secured and a successful rental is obtained. Any security /damage deposit and cleaning fee will be refunded regardless.

SECURITY DEPOSIT POLICY: Your Security Deposit will be refunded within 15 days after your departure and the property has been checked and inventoried and no loss or damage has been found to the property or contents.

PET POLICY: Pets will be considered, please inquire with information about kind, breed, weight, age, etc.

The GARDEN COTTAGE is located in our lower gardens next to a waterfall. It is beautiful, with garden views, but is presently undergoing renovation.
